City Terrace is an affordable multifamily apartment
community located in downtown Long Beach, California.
This urban residential project consists of 98
rental homes for low- and moderate-income seniors.
City Terrace is a high density urban infill
project. As a redevelopment project, it was
built through a joint effort between the City
of Long Beach Redevelopment Agency and a Civic
Partners affiliate. The project was designed
and built in response to the growing demand
for affordable senior housing in downtown Long
Beach.
This garden style apartment community is built
on top of a subterranean parking deck, under
which resident parking is provided.
Financing for this $3.7 million project was
arranged utilizing tax-exempt, rated bonds.
